Mallet(t) Is Still Blue
Ryan Mallett confirmed that after a bit of soul searching he had decided to return to the Univeristy of Michigan. Michigan fans can probably send their thank you cards to Ryan’s high school coach Barry Norton.
Ryan Mallett’s reconsideration has caused disagreement under his own roof. After meeting with Coach Norton, Ryan Mallett has decided Michigan is still his best bet.
If the response to this blog is any indication of how he was treated in Michigan, I can understand why he considered aborting his stay there after one trimester.
Many times on our radio show, I have stated that I feel that UofM is the best fit for Ryan Mallett’s talents. I have also stated that I wish that he had stayed closer to home, so we in the area come have been able to follow his career more closely.
I hope the folks in Michigan will be good to him, and understand why a young man would get homesick, and reconsider his decision. It is likely that most folks that support the Wolverines are going to take that attitude because Ryan Mallett could be the best they have ever had at QBU.
